At Menai High School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends, explore opportunities that match their interest and goals and encourage the pursuit of new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Creative and Performing Arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Trips and Excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Agriculture Show Teams
Our students have the opportunity to compete and judge in agricultural shows such as The Royal Easter Show and Goulburn Show.
Annual Ski Trip
Our students have the opportunity of visiting the snowfields every year in Years 10 and 11.
Lady Elliot Island
Our Year 10 and 11 students have the opportunity to experience one of the world's unique environments out on the Barrier Reef.
Debating and Public Speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. Year 7-10 students, in particular, also have the chance to compete in local and state-wide events.
